The first edition of the CIVIS Summer school in Rights and Democracy which was held at the Department of Political Science from 13 to 17 June 2022 has just ended. The course involved instructors and students coming from the universities of Sapienza of Rome, Aix-Marseille, Athens, Tübingen, Bucharest, Madrid, Stockholm and Bruxelles
It was an honour to be among the participants of the first edition of the summer school on Rights and Democracy. Definitely it exceeded my expectations and I will remember it as one of the best learning experiences I had abroad. Both the organizing team was highly professional and took care of almost all the details and the students who participated (whose background spanned from law to philosophy, sociology and politics) showed a great interest and desire to enrich their knowledge and to work in groups. There was plenty of time for courses held by reputed professors across Europe, visiting the city and having fun too. Many thanks for everything and look forward to the next editions.
